1. Parents are encouraged to come for an initial meeting and tour of the Centre and speak to the Administrator.

2. An assessment is required to be carried out on the child before admission procedures can commence. Parents are required to register for the Assessment by completing the necessary paperwork and making the payment for the same. (This is payable in advance)

3. Parents bring the child in for an ABLLS assessment (Assessment for Basic Language and Learning Skills). This is carried out for four hours at TLPCentre and two hours at home

4. The ABLLS report is thereafter prepared and sent on or before 10 working days from the Assessment.

5. (Where an Assessment has previously been done, a copy of the report is required. This would be admissible where done within two years from the date of enquiry.) Where a report already exists, the child is brought in for a playdate for an hour.

6. Once parents have read and understood the assessment reports and wish to proceed with enrolment, parent’s interview and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meeting are set up.

7. Upon completion of the above, parents received an invoice and were advised to procure an application form. This is expected back with Passport photographs, copy of birth certificate, up to date immunization form and other required accompaniments.

8. A child’s admission at THE LEARNING PLACE CENTRE is considered confirmed when all required documents and payments are received in full.
